Map & Compass Travel advisors are independent travel advisors affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel Group. 

Map & Compass Travel provides travel planning, advisory, and booking assistance. Travel reservations may be arranged through Atlas Coast Travel Group and its supplier relationships and systems. 

Travel services are provided by independent third-party suppliers, which may include cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation providers, excursion providers, travel insurance providers, rail operators, rental-car companies, and other travel providers.

Map & Compass Travel does not own, operate, manage, or control these suppliers or their day-to-day operations. Supplier products and services are subject to the applicable supplier's own terms, conditions, policies, availability, and operational decisions.

Map & Compass Travel can assist clients in communicating with suppliers and addressing travel-related issues, but we cannot guarantee the performance or actions of a third-party supplier.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have all documentation required for their trip, including passports, visas, identification, authorizations, health documentation, and any other documents required for entry, transit, or return.

Map & Compass Travel strongly encourages every traveler to obtain and travel with a valid passport, even when a passport may not be required for a particular itinerary. Travel plans can change unexpectedly, and situations may arise in which a passport is necessary to enter or depart a country, travel by air internationally, or return home.

Entry and documentation requirements vary based on citizenship, residency, destination, transit countries, itinerary, age, and individual circumstances and may change without notice. Travelers are responsible for verifying the requirements applicable to their individual circumstances with the appropriate government authorities and travel suppliers.

Map & Compass Travel may provide general information and links to helpful resources as a convenience, but such information should not be considered legal or immigration advice and does not replace verification with the appropriate government authorities.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Travel insurance may provide protection for certain covered cancellations, interruptions, delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, baggage issues, and other covered events. Coverage, exclusions, limitations, eligibility, and benefits depend upon the specific policy.

Map & Compass Travel is not the insurance provider and does not determine whether a particular loss, circumstance, or event is covered. Travelers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms, conditions, exclusions, and benefits of any travel insurance policy they purchase.

If a traveler declines travel insurance, Map & Compass Travel requires the traveler to acknowledge that decision by completing and signing a Travel Insurance Declination and Acknowledgment before proceeding with the booking.

By declining travel insurance, the traveler accepts responsibility for the financial risks associated with traveling without coverage, including losses or expenses that might otherwise have been eligible for coverage under a travel insurance policy.

For your security, never send credit-card information to Map & Compass Travel through ordinary email, text message, or another unsecured communication method.

When payment-card information or authorization is required, clients will be directed to the secure payment or authorization process designated by Atlas Coast Travel Group or the applicable travel supplier.

Travel pricing, promotions, and availability are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed. Individual bookings may be subject to deposits, final-payment deadlines, cancellation penalties, change fees, nonrefundable amounts, and other supplier-specific terms.

The applicable terms for a particular trip will be provided through proposals, confirmations, invoices, supplier documents, booking communications, or other transaction-specific materials. Supplier cancellation and refund policies apply to supplier services, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

Clients who engage Map & Compass Travel for travel planning and booking services are required to enter into a separate Client Services Agreement before booking. The agreement establishes the general terms of the advisor-client relationship and is separate from this website and these disclosures. 

Individual reservations also remain subject to applicable supplier terms and trip-specific pricing, payment requirements, cancellation policies, and other conditions communicated for that particular booking.
